Sheri L. Johnson, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Miami. Her work has been funded by the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression and by the National Institute of Mental Health, and her findings have been published in a number of journals, including the Journal of Abnormal Psychology and the American Journal of Psychiatry.
Robert L. Leahy, Ph.D., is President of the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy, founder and director of the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy in New York City, and Clinical Associate Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical School. He is the author or editor of Overcoming Resistance in Cognitive Therapy, Treatment Plans and Interventions for Depression and Anxiety Disorders (with Stephen J. Holland), and Roadblocks in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, among many other publications.
